prvý mesiac, keď si študenti vyberajú kurzy, je to veľmi flexibilné. S výberom kurzov pomáhajú pracovníci na oddelení, kde študujete.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Štúdium prebieha formou prednášok a cvičení. Dajú sa vybrať aj predmety, ktoré sú zamerané na spoznávanie tradičnej domorodej taiwanskej kultúry, napríklad výroba tradičného odevu a pod. Profesori sú zhovievaví a prispôsobujú nároky výmenným študentom.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Prednášky a semináre boli viac interaktívne. Študenti viac pracujú počas semestra, ako počas skúškového.

Od vyučujúcich.

How well is the school library equipped?:
Skvelá, našla som všetko, čo som potrebovala.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Vlastný notebook je potreba pre spracovanie úloh. Počítače sú dostupné tiež (v knižnici aj na katedre), avšak sú v čínskom jazyku, takže práca napríklad s Wordom v čínštine je náročnejšia.

doniesla by som si vlastné obliečky; je potrebné si kúpiť po príchode vlastný matrac, vankúš aj deku

pri podávaní prihlášky na univerzitu

jedáleň, kde je výber jedál veľký a 7-11; 20 minút cesty autobusom je mestečko Puli a tam je toho veľa

takmer rovnaké, možno o niečo drahšie

Transport to location of placement:
univerzita ponúka autobus, ktorý privezie študentov z letiska (zdarma)

Rough prices for transportation:
vlak z Taipeia do Taichungu je cca 300CZK, potom autobus z Taichungu do Puli je 70CZK

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
v škole dostanú študenti študentskú kartu, s ktorou môžu cestovať autobusom, vlakom aj mestskou dopravou

z univerzity do Puli - školský autobus 15CZK
v Puli - peši (nie je MHD)

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Bola som na jeden semester, takže povolenie k pobytu som nepotrebovala. Mala som len víza a musela som ísť na zdravotnú prehliadku.

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
Mála celosvetové cestovné poistenie, ktoré stálo cca 180€ na pol roka cez Generali.

Zo začiatku som mala problém s výberom predmetov, ale všetko sa vyriešilo.

What would you recommend to take with you:
Ja si vždy na študijný pobyt do Ázie beriem sprej na hmyz (použila som ho na mravce, inak s tým problém nebol).

What most surprised you at the partner university in a positive way:
Nádherný kampus v horách a akí sú taiwanskí študenti milí a nápomocní.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
Že tam nie je centrum pre výučbu čínskeho jazyka a čínština, ktorá sa tam vyučuje je na nízkej úrovni.
