Informace ohledně kurzů vyučovaných na této škole mi byla zaslán emailem po zastaní dotazu.

Which documents were needed for acceptance at the foreign university?:
Bylo potřeba pouze vyplněný LA a motivační dopis. Ideálně byla potřeba i určité úrovně španělštiny, jelikož nabídka předmětů v angličtině není příliš velká.

How far ahead did you have to organise your acceptance?:
2 měsíce až měsíc a půl před začátkem semestru

ano, na zahraničním oddělení fakulty jsem se ještě před odjezdem domluvila na způsobu uznání

Registrace probíhá několik týdnů před začátkem semestru online. U zahraničních studentů jsou s tím poměrně problémy a je tak potřeba často ještě na začátku semestru provádět úpravy. Změny jsou možné ještě na začátku semestru.

Did you take any examinations at the foreign school?:
Ano, v půlce semestru a na konci.

Místní univerzita vytvořila dokument, na základě kterého zahraniční oddělená na mé fakultě přiřadilo ECTS kredity k mým zapsaným předmětům.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Výuka je formou přednášek, u většiny předmětů je potřeba vytvořit projekt či napsat závěrečnou práci, která je zadána vyučujícím na dané téma. Hodnocení většinou závisí na výsledku zkoušky, projektu a aktivitě v hodinách.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
Úroveň je poměrně srovnatelná s úrovní na MU.

Od vyučujících

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Kurzy španělštiny či předměty tákající se kulturního dědictví Mexika a podobně.

How well is the school library equipped?:
standardní vybavenost

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Je tu dobrá dostupnost počítačů i dobré připojení na internet v knihovně a počítačových učebnách.

Options from printing and copying:
V areálu CUCEA je možnost tisku a kopírování na několika místech.

Většina předmětů je s místními studenty a tak je velice jednoduché seznámit se s místními lidmi a vytvořit si vztahy. Mimo hodiny španělského jazyka, člověk je málo kdy mezi cizinci, což je z mé strany výhodou studia v UdG.

Pronajmutý pokoj v době blízko CUCEA.

cena je včetně energií.

V mém případě bylo ubytování kompletně vybavené. Potřeba jen nezapomenout adaptér do zásuvek.

How and how far ahead should accommodation be organised?:
Ubytování jsem hledala asi měsíc před odjezdem přes skupiny na Facebook, ale je možné i přes organizace jako Integrate a podobně.

What are the catering options?:
Stravování je možné v okolí univerzity.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Cenová hladina je podobná nebo o něco nižší než v ČR.

Transport to location of placement:
Doprava letadlem přímo do Guadalajary.

Rough prices for transportation:
Kolem 20000Kč zpáteční letenka.

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Letenky jsem hledala přes Skyscenner. Jinak doprava z letiště ideálně Uber. Není moc doporučeno používat Taxi.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
je možnost pujčit kolo nebo místní autobusy (7-9,5 pesos) a metro (9,5 pesos) nebo Uber (ideální převážně večer)

What kind of formalities have to be arranged before arrival, for example residence permit?:
Potřeba registrace v hlavní budově univerzity

What health insurance did you use? (rough price, advantages, disadvantages, is it necessary to arrange insurance at the university other than your home (Czech) insurance?):
Měla jsem pořízené pojištění od AXA. Nebyla potřeba ničeho dalšího po příjezdu.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a positive way:
Přátelské a příjemné prostředí. Všichni jsou ochotni pomoci a ekonomická fakulta je v příjemném zeleném parku. Velkou část dne studenti tráví venku.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
Jakýkoliv problém trvá dlouho než se vyřídí, jelikož na pozicích, které komunikují se studenty jsou většinou ne příliš kompetentní pracovníci, kteří nemají možnost o některých věcech rozhodovat a tak nejsou schopní často pomoci. Je tu také hodně byrokracie.
