Activities before my departure abroad
What was your approach in organising the placement?:
Pracovní stáž byla zajištěna přes program SEP organizace IPSF. Musela jsem tedy být členem Unie studentů a zároveň SČSF, zaplatit poplatek (3150,- s tím, že 2000,- se mi vrátí, pokud se aktivně účastním programu pro studenty, kteří na oplátku přijedou do ČR, konkrétně do Brna), napsat motivační dopis a životopis, dostavit se na pohovor Unie, založit si účet na IPSF a vybrat si tři země, kam bych chtěla vycestovat. Pak už jsem jen čekala, jestli se ozve SEO některé z těch tří zemí, jestli mě přijali. To se stalo: v průběhu března jsem obdržela email od SEO ze Slovinska a vybrala si patřičný termín, kdy chci vycestovat. Dále jsem dostala podrobné info o praxi i ubytování v Mariboru. Já sama jsem si musela zajistit jen dopravu. Samozřejmostí byli i dokumenty potřebné pro MU, aby mi tuto stáž uznala.

How far ahead did acceptance have to be organised? (in weeks):
Přihlášky na letní SEP se řeší v listopadu/prosinci předcházejícího roku, než chce student vyjet. Takže v mém případě (vycestovala jsem v červenci) cca 30 týdnů předem.

Ne, neměnila.

What is necessary to arrange immediately on arrival? What requirements and at which offices?:
Já osobně jsem si musela vyřídit jen City Bus Card a to na dopravním podniku přímo v Mariboru. Dále pak ubytování na kolejích, ale to bylo zařizováno (i zaplaceno) předem.

Describe your work/activity in the foreign organisation. Describe what specifically you did, whether the work corresponded to the agreed conditions and your field of study, and whether your work was independent and responsible, approximate working hours.:
Byla jsem na praxi v lékárně, kde jsem vykonávala typické činnosti stejné jako v ČR. Kromě expedice léčiv, protože neumím slovinsky. V lékárně jsem byla zpravidla 5-6 hodin denně (cca od 8.00 do 14.00), z toho většinu času jsem pracovala spolu s přiděleným "vedoucím" mé praxe.

Did the organisation or local student organisations arrange any special events for foreign students on placements?:

If yes then what?:
Studenti ze Slovinska organizovali zpravidla víkendové aktivity - výlety na zajímavá místa ve Slovinsku.

já platila cca 65 EUR, protože jsem na kolejích byla ubytovaná jen 14 dní

Who arranged your accommodation and how far ahead:
Ubytování zajišťovala SEO Slovinska. Potvrzení o ubytování jsem dostala někdy v květnu.

Equipment, internet connection, what to bring:
Na pokoji byla postel s lůžkovinami, stůl, skříň a adaptér pro připojení na internet. Na patře pak společná kuchyňka a dvě koupelny + WC. Musela jsem si přivést svoje nádobí.

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
Víceméně totožné.

Transport to location of placement:
autobusem

Approximate price:
měsíční city bus card vyšla na 18 EUR, doprava do a ze Slovinska mě přímým autobusovým spojem vyšla na cca 1600 Kč celkem

Tips for purchasing cheap tickets and other recommendations:
Koupit je alespoň měsíc dva dopředu.

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
autobusy MHD, velmi často pak kola (šla půjčit skoro na každé ulici)

klasické cestovní pojištění mé pojišťovny v ČR

Did you have other insurance? Which?:
Ne, jen cestovní.

Žádná.

Nejedná se o měsíční výdaj, ale o výdaje za 14 dní. Dost výdajů byly cesty po Slovinsku a strava v restautracích.
