Doporučila bych 2 semestry před plánovaným pobytem navázat kontakt s mentorem a dojednat Learning Agreement. Následně 1 semestr před pobytem oficiálně požádat o přijetí a podat ostatní dokumenty.

Semestr před odjezdem mi byl přidělen vhodný kurz, na základě předchozí komunikace a podání výpisu absolvovaných předmětů na FSS. Možnost změny je v prvním týdnu pobytu v rámci Orientation Week.

Describe the teaching methods (theory, practical and projects) and assessment of students:
Individuální konzultace, zpětná vazba k napsaným textům, přítomnost na výuce, navazování kontaktů s lidmi z oboru a z akademického prostředí, vlastní přednáška v rámci mentorčiny výuky.

Quality of teaching in comparison with home school:
V oblasti teorie srovnatelná, v oblasti výzkumu vnímám, že jdou na zahraniční univerzitě více do hloubky.

How did you receive study materials?:
Od mentorky; vlastním přístupem do fakultní knihovny; od kolegyň ze zahraniční univerzity, se kterými mě mentorka propojila.

Can you recommend an interesting course/subject/teacher?:
Mentorka Prof. Darja Zaviršek, Mojca Urek, Ph.D., Irena Šumi, Ph.D.

How well is the school library equipped?:
Přidala bych anglické tituly. Oceňuji dostatek místa a prostoru a vstřícný přístup personálu.

Availability of computers, internet access, level of software needed, requirements on notebook:
Horší internetové připojení, zejména v knihovně (podpřízemní patro)

Options from printing and copying:
Zajištěna přímo na fakultě, přes e-mail i USB, za příznivou cenu.

Does the foreign school/student organisation arrange special events for exchange students?:

Společné výlety, společné akce, společné workshopy, společná WhatsApp skupina (velmi aktivní)

Větší prostor - část erasmu se mnou byla přítomná rodina (mám dvě malé děti).

Describe the equipment. Tips for future students – what should they bring with them?:
Celkově ubytování na kolejích je v Lublani co jsem slyšela často problém, pro pobyty kratší než semestr nemožné. Zbývají tedy hostely pro dlouhodobé pobyty / soukromé ubytování. Tyto možnosti už jsou vybavené dobře a není potřeba si toho vozit tolik.

Semestr před výjezdem (hned na začátku semestru)

What are the catering options?:
Dotované studentské stravování (nutné mít Slovinskou SIM)

What are the rough costs of groceries (compare with Czech prices):
mírně dražší, ale ne závratně. (Poblíž ubytování jsem měla Interspar, takže cena příznivá)

Transport to location of placement:
Autem (6h), autobusem (12h z Brna)

Rough prices for transportation:
autobus cca 1600 - 1800 Kč 1 cesta

What are the local transport options (public transport, cycling, on foot, rough prices):
MHD vždy s kartičkou, neplatí se hotově!
MHD - vyřídit si studentskou přihlášku - zelená kartička za 20 eur na měsíc
anebo vyřídit si za 2 eura žlutou kartičku a nabít si kredit, jedna cesta na 90min s přestupy stojí 1,50 eur.

Kolo - 2eura na rok, poté zdarma přes aplikaci. Dobře zasíťované a cyklostezky všude.

V některých soukromých ubytováních měststký poplatek za osobu za noc

složitý proces, ale problém vcelku žádný, žádost o uznání je dnešním dnem v procesu

What would you recommend to take with you:
záleží na typu ubytování, mé ubytování bylo vybaveno velmi dobře. Doporučuji sledovat teplotní rozdíly a počasi a dle toho se vybavit (Např. Lublaň leží v údolí a ráno tam bývá poměrně dlouhou dobu mlha, od listopadu končí turisticka sezóna a začíná zimní. Oproti tomu léto začíná prý již v květnu, turistická sezóna začíná až na začátku dubna, kvůli sněhu na horách).

What most surprised you at the partner university in a positive way:
Komorní, rodinná, vstřícná atmosféra, zároveň výzkumná a publikační činnost na dobré úrovni, jazyková vybavenost na dobré úrovni, slušně fungující program pro výměnné studenty.

What most surprised you at the partner university in a negative way:
Nic si nevybavím.
